Our Vision



We aspire to harness the rise of information, knowledge, and technology to transform our planet into a more humane world, free from the chains of poverty, ignorance, disease, and suffering, thereby providing every human being the opportunity to thrive fully.


Our Mission


Harvesting the knowledge, skills, and talents of highly educated members of the African diaspora to create social, technological, productive, and economic value for black communities. We are committed through co-development programs, initiatives supporting individuals affected by rare diseases such as autism and obesity, as well as promoting operational and academic research.

Equity

We act without bias, favoritism, and with complete impartiality, relying on objective facts rather than impressions or personal interests. In our pursuit of a more humane world, we operate with respect for individuals' rights and consideration for their individual differences.

We act with competence and rigor in all circumstances, taking a position only after objectively analyzing the issue. In implementing our mission, we encourage our staff, volunteers, leaders, and partners to act in a way that avoids any situation of conflict of interest that may influence decision-making or the performance of duties.


Transparency

At all levels of our organization, we ensure that clear and comprehensive information is always accessible. Therefore, we deploy internal communication methods that facilitate clear and complete information sharing at all levels of the organization. We also commit to communicating transparently with our partners and beneficiaries about our actions, fund management and utilization, and the human management of our organization.

Developing Innovative Tools

To enhance productivity, efficient organizational management, the well-being of populations, and to promote evidence-based decision-making.


Building more effective partnerships

To create a synergy of interventions actors aimed at reducing poverty, vulnerability, and the dependence.


Skills Transfer

To reduce the technical, technological, intellectual, and financial dependence of developing countries on Northern countries.


Mobilizing multidisciplinary academic expertise

To ensure the delivery of programs that adhere to the highest scientific standards.


Acting Without Substituting in developping countries

To empower local partners to develop greater autonomy in identifying issues, formulating, and implementing solutions that are more suited to their reality.



Our History


  • Our organization brought together parents of autistic children in the Black community and collaborated with them to develop its first program to support families with children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  • Our organization launches its co-development and co-creation program to enable researchers and students to materialize their expertise in concrete projects.


  • The Monde des Humains collaborated with the young company Jinoo Inc to assist them in designing their digital platform organizational performance management.

  • The Monde des Humains signs an agreement with the Federal Government of Canada under the grant for strengthening capacity in organizations led by Black individuals. The grant amount is $45,000.


  • Signing of the support agreement for the agropastoral cooperative 'BestCongo,' legally constituted in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

  • Signing of the first support agreement for EcoAgriConsulting and Solution for Africa - EACS, established under Cameroonian corporate law.



  • It provides financial support to numerous international students in their integration process in Quebec and supports several cultural associations at the Université de Sherbrooke.

  • The Monde des Humains has participated in several project presentation contests in Montreal, such as 'Innovons ensemble, edition 2016, 2017.'

  • The Monde des Humains was established on February 15, 2016, under the corporate name 'Monde des Hommes'.
